About Me

I am a commercial oriented HR practitioner, Certified Coach and Scrum Master with core expertise in Strategy, Talent and Business Management who works with business leaders and organizations to co-create and implement effective solutions that drive employee ownership and business performance.

An experienced business and people leader, I have led HR and Consulting teams across multiple sectors in various capacities including as Chief People Officer for a Technology company, Sector HR Head with oversight for 3 subsidiaries in the Payments and Technology Sector with a leading conglomerate; Group Head HR at a Bank; and several other People and Operations roles towards developing and deploying solutions that solve business problems and make significant contributions to company growth.

Throughout my career, I have led teams and collaborated with stakeholders to achieve significant results such as increased employee engagement and top talent retention, increased revenue and PBT; creating people systems which led to several HR and business accolades including 3 time winners of the Hofstede Culture Award for Diversity and Inclusion and the NECA Employer Excellence Award for the Banking and Financial Services industry.
In addition to my work in HR, I have worked as a Product Advisor for 2 successful HRIS products and one investment application in alignment with interests in Tech Operations, Product Advisory, Business Development, and General Business Operations on my journey to becoming a Business Leader in a Unicorn. I also support several SMEs across different industries in Start-Up and Business Advisory including consultations on People, Business Strategy, Products, Technology, Funding, Scaling and other potential cogs in the wheel of growing a viable business.

I have a first degree in Human Resource Management, Master’s degree in Managerial Psychology; hold a Senior Professional in Human Resources International (SPHRi) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and Fellow Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria (FCIPM). I am also a Certified Professional Coach from the Center for CoRe Coaching and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1); a certification I pursued to build competencies in Agile practices towards supporting executives and businesses to successfully navigate the technology accelerated “Now of Work”; and have technical training and certifications in Business Analysis and Product Leadership which have enhanced the quality of technology advisory projects.

In 2021, I was recognized as a Leader to Watch by National Economy; a Top 50 Leader in Agile by LeadersHum in 2022; and sat on the Advisory Board for a tech academy with a focus on developing tech talent. In 2023, I was onboarded as one of the inaugural mentors for the Women in Tech – Nigeria Chapter “Mentor Me Program”. The Women in Tech program is the world’s leading organization for Inclusion, Diversity & Equity in STEAM with over 200,000 members across 6 continents. In 2024, I was also recognized as one of the top 100 Career Women in Africa. The compilation which features women from 5 African regions across 16 countries; recognizes the outstanding achievements and remarkable impact of female professionals across Africa, amplifying women in the corporate sector who are defying the odds and disrupting the status quo in their industries.
When I am not doing “Work Stuff” as my children call it, I can be found hanging with my husband and sons (Aged 11 and 7); spending time with my parents, working with the Teenagers in my local assembly where I lead the Teens fellowship Faculty, serving as President of the women’s fellowship for my local assembly where I lead various impact initiatives for Women or expressing my passion for teaching, young adults and supporting women.
I also write, speak and consult on Technology, Design Thinking, Operations, People, and Business Strategy; including briefly authoring a technology newsletter with thousands of subscribers across the world.
