About Me

Ejiro is a commercially astute HR executive and board advisor with over 15 years of experience leading HR and consulting teams across sectors to deliver measurable impact; including enhanced employee engagement, top talent retention, revenue growth, and award-winning people systems. She has led HR teams to earn multiple accolades, including three consecutive years Hofstede Culture Awards for Diversity and Inclusion, the NECA Employer Excellence Award for Banking and Financial Services, an Excellence in People and Culture Award, the second-best Company to work for Wellbeing in Nigeria (Large organization Category) and a platinum Great Place to Work recognition.

As Chief Human Resources Officer at a bank and a trusted advisor to founders and CEOs, she brings deep expertise at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and people.

A Chartered Banker (ACIB), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (FCIPM) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development UK (FCIPD), Certified Professional Coach, and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), Ejiro holds degrees in Human Resources and Managerial Psychology, with additional certifications in Business Analysis and Product Leadership. A distinguished alumnus of the Lagos Business School, currently serving as Vice President for the Senior Management Program (SMP 92) Lagos Business School Alumni Association and a Wimboard Fellow – WIMBIZ trained and mentored for Board roles, Ejiro has been named among Africa’s Top 100 Career Women, a 40 leading women in HR Honouree, a Leader to Watch by National Economy, a recipient of the Excellence in HR Leadership Award, a Worden HCD Top Women in Human Resources honouree, and as one of Nigeria’s Most Value-Adding Female Professionals by The Guardian Nigeria.

She contributes to the advancement of the profession through mentoring, product advisory, and board roles, including as a Mentor with Women in Tech Nigeria and a board advisor of a tech talent academy focused on Africa. Ejiro also serves on the HRM Professional Advisory Group (PAG) at the Edinburgh Napier University Business School in Scotland, a collaborative forum that brings together senior HR leaders and academics from across the world. She is currently the only industry representative from Africa on the Advisory Group, where she contributes to shaping the future of global HR practice and education by advising on curriculum development, employability priorities, programme design, and the integration of cutting-edge insights from both the workplace and academia. She is also a faculty member of the Lagos Business School (LBS) HR Academy where she facilitates on becoming a future ready HR professional and Driving Performance and Profit with AI.

Outside of work, she leads women’s and teen-focused outreach initiatives under a faith-based platform and is active as a speaker, researcher, writer, and advisor on Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Transformation and Adoption, Design Thinking, Products, Operations, and People Strategy; helping leaders translate strategy into execution through people, culture, and systems.
